About the LWBN
The Ladysmith Women's Business Network (LWBN) has provided networking opportunities and fellowship for women in the north Cowichan region for over 13 years. Through regular dinner meetings, trade shows and fundraising events, the LWBN empowers women in all walks of life.
The organization has monthly dinner meetings at various venues throughout Chemainus and Ladysmith at which members interests and businesses are highlighted through "spot light" presentations. Guest speakers are invited to engage and enlighten our membership with topics that are either business oriented or of general interest.
Summer brings a party atmosphere to our meetings which are generally held outdoors as either a bar-b-q or pot luck dinner. Throughout the year we hold various events to raise money to support selected causes that align with our mission of empowering women.
Membership in the LWBN has many benefits and includes some special perks like receiving a bouquet of flowers for your birthday. These small touches are part of what makes our organization special.
The commraderie is wonderful. We invite you to come and join us at one of our dinner meetings. Information on upcoming meetings, speakers and other events are posted on this web site in the Events section on the menu above.
